Welcome to your page! Here are the portraits that we did inside yesterday. As you will see, there is a total of 151 photos, of the 164 taken. Several had closed eyes, and a few were blurred or not focused as I like. You will see that I shoot in a series. That means that there are multiple photos of essentially the same image, so look carefully at expressions, eyes, and centered positioning. These are all at 4 by 6 sizing, and are compressed files that will not print well. Please wait for your disc to be completed for printing. In reality, there are only about 20 different shots, regarding angle/positioning and expression, all with tiny variations. My suggestion is to select your favorites, maybe one of each, or less.
I have separated these from the others as from what we talked about, one of these is likely to be your choice for the yearbook, and I wanted to give you time to view and select. I suggest that we retouch that image. the first four show an example of retouching. #1 is as taken, #2 is a light retouch removing blemishes but leaving texture of skin. This technique leaves facial hair natural as well. The two b/w photos use the same retouch, but are different. One shows higher contrast and is termed Dramatic, the other is standard b/w.
I have a lot of other photos to post, which will be coming in a second "Chase" outdoor file. With the number of shots taken, I would like to make executive decisions and post only 1 or two of each pose, as adjusting all will take forever. ( I guess I get into my work as I have over 1400 outdoor shots, most of which repeat one. You are welcome to come to my house, of course, to see them on my large screen, and also view every single photo, but it is unwieldy to work on nearly identical photos and I would like to make pre selections for you, to post on this site. that will likely help both of us. The second file of outdoor photos will be worked on today, and I will post some as I do them, in an incomplete fashion, buying you time to see those as I go, until representatives of all taken are posted.
I enjoyed our time together, and hope you did as well.
I suggest the first viewing be a slideshow so use the left upper area of the first photo to begin. Each photo will show for 3 seconds and move on. After you have seen all of the photos, you may view them again, but at your own pace, by using the right upper area of the first photo, to pause, or move quickly. Note numbers at the bottom of the screen under the photos. Your selections, are made by noting the number of that photo, as it highlights when viewing.
You may of course, share this website with others, so they can see your photos. These are as taken, with only minor adjustments, and not completed or retouched photos. I hope you enjoy seeing them and others that we did outdoors, too.
Thank you for selecting me as your photographer. It has been my pleasure.
